1. Are you a member of the National or International Association of Home Inspectors (NACHI) or (InterNACHI)? Certification ensures that the inspector meets strict guidelines and adheres to industry standards set forth by the largest and most reputable home inspection organization in the country.
    YES – All inspectors are certified by, and active members of InterNACHI. They adhere to Standards of Practice, abide by a Code of Ethics, and attend required continuing education courses.
2. What are your qualifications? Inspectors’ experience should not be specialized. They should have a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of residential structures and components. An electrician is not qualified to inspect plumbing; a plumber shouldn’t inspect HVAC, etc.
   Our inspector is a State Certified General Contractor with 35 years experience in all phases of construction. All inspectors are specifically experienced in all areas of residential inspection & required to complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education per year.
3. Do you have a current license?
    The state of Florida is now requiring all Home Inspectors to be licensed and vetted through a process that includes a criminal background search before a license is issued.

4. What specifically will the inspection cover?
   Roofing; Including roof coverings, flashings, skylights chimneys and roof penetrations.
Exterior including: Wall cladding, flashing and trim, Doors, Windows,Decks, Balconies, Stoops, Steps, Areaways, Porches, Patio Covers and Railings. Vegetation, Grading, Drainage, Patio Floor, Walkways and Retaining Walls. Eaves, Soffits and Facias.
Garage including: Ceilings, Walls, Floor, Doors, Operator and Safety Controls.
Interior including: Ceilings, Walls, Floors, Steps, Stairways, Railings, Counters and Cabinets, Doors, Windows.
Structural Components.
Plumbing System including: Water supply distribution system and fixtures. Hot water system. Main water shutoff.

5. How long does the inspection take?
   The average for a single inspector is two to three hours for a typical single-family home. Our inspectors are very experienced and proficient, so they may finish earlier. However, they will take as long as needed to do a thorough inspection.
6. Can we accompany you on the inspection?
   Yes – you absolutely may accompany our inspector(s) during the inspection. Our professional inspectors are not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also friendly, approachable, and well-spoken. However, it is not a requirement. Our inspection report is very thorough and easy to read. We don't consider a job to be complete until all of your questions are answered.
7. How long will it take to receive your inspection report, once the inspection is completed?
    Our report will be delivered within 1 business day or sooner if required.
8. Can you send a copy of the inspection report to my realtor or another 3rd party?
   Yes – with your permission we will gladly send a copy of the report to a 3rd party via e-mail at no additional cost.
9. Does the report include estimates of repair costs?
   No – if an inspector answers this question “yes” that may indicate a conflict of interest.

10. Do you have references?
    Yes, however, our best reference is likely whoever referred you to us. ArchiVision Home Inspections is “By Referral Only”... We do not spend our resources on advertising. You will not see us in any publications, TV or radio. Instead we invest 100% of our time and energy to delivering first-class service to our clients. 11. How much will the inspection cost?
